Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
High End Fire Collectables ("we", "us", "our") operates highendfire.shop. Contact: jonathon@highendfire.shop.
1. What We Collect
We only collect what we need to run the business, deliver your order and stay in touch. Specifically:
Information you give us
- Order details: name, email, phone, delivery address, billing address
- Trade-in / sell submissions: the details and photos you upload via our Sell form
- Watchlist or contact form messages: name, email and the content of your message
- Distributor enquiries: business name, ABN, contact details, what you're enquiring about
Information collected automatically
- Site analytics: pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device type, browser type
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored in your browser to keep your cart, remember preferences and measure how the site is used
Information from payment processors
When you check out, our payment provider (Stripe) handles your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a confirmation that payment succeeded along with the last four digits and a tokenised reference.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process and ship your order
- To respond to enquiries, refund requests and support questions
- To send you order confirmations, shipping updates and (if you've opted in) our Watchlist newsletter
- To detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the site
- To comply with our tax and record-keeping obligations under Australian law
- To improve the site and our service based on aggregated usage data
We will never sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Marketing & the Watchlist
If you sign up to our Watchlist, we'll use the email you provide to send periodic emails about cards and product we're watching. You can unsubscribe any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us. Unsubscribing only stops marketing — we'll still need to email you about transactional matters like orders and refunds.
4. Who We Share It With
We share the minimum personal information necessary with trusted service providers who help us operate, including:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Australia Post and other couriers — to deliver your order (name, address, phone)
- Vercel — website hosting
- FormSubmit.co — handling form submissions
- Google Analytics or similar — anonymised site analytics
Some of these providers store data outside Australia (typically the United States or European Union). We only use providers with reputable security and privacy standards.
We may also disclose your information if required by Australian law, court order, or to protect our or someone else's rights and safety.
5. How We Store and Protect It
Personal information is stored on secure servers operated by reputable providers, with access limited to what's needed to run the business. We use HTTPS across the site, secure tokens for payment, and we don't keep payment card data ourselves. No system is 100% impenetrable, but we follow good practice and we'll notify you and the relevant authority promptly if a notifiable data breach occurs.
6. How Long We Keep It
- Order records: at least 5 years from the date of the order, as required by Australian tax law
- Email enquiries / form submissions: kept while there's a reasonable business reason, then deleted on request
- Marketing list: kept until you unsubscribe
- Analytics data: retained in aggregated, non-identifying form
7. Your Rights
Under Australian privacy law you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you
- Have it corrected if it's inaccurate or out of date
- Request that we delete it, subject to legal record-keeping requirements
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time
- Make a privacy complaint — to us first, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you're not satisfied
To make a request, email jonathon@highendfire.shop. We'll respond within a reasonable time (usually within 30 days).
8. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and browser-storage items, including:
- Strictly necessary: remembering items in your cart, keeping you signed in to forms
- Analytics: understanding how the site is used so we can improve it
You can disable cookies in your browser at any time. Some parts of the site (like the cart) won't work properly without them.
9. Children
The site isn't aimed at children under 16. If you're a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives at highendfire.shop/privacy and is dated at the top of the page. If we make a material change, we'll let you know by email if you've subscribed to our list, or by a notice on the site.
11. Contact & Complaints

If you're not happy with how we've handled your privacy, you can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au.
